Ash Ketchum Age Meme

This is my contribution to the still popular internet meme that targets Ash's age. Even though it is obvious that Nintendo keeps Ash young in order for kids to relate to him, I still think it is funny that he hasn't aged a bit. Why not just replace him with a new character in each generation? It would have been cool if Ash was in the original generation, them someone else was the protagonist, and so on. Still, Ash is a pretty cool character that can appeal to kids of different generations.
